Boe-Bot is a robotic kit developed by Parallax. It is used to construct a three-wheeled robot that has the ability to drive autonomously while avoiding objects or following a line.
Boe-Bot consists of a main circuit board, a microcontroller, two servo motors, a touch sensor, a light sensor, an ultrasonic sensor, a bread board, an aluminum chassis, and various parts and pieces. It takes around 1–2 hours to assemble, and requires no programming experience. An instructional book is included that contains step-by-step instruction on how to complete Boe-Bot, as well as up to 50 hours of additional projects. Boe-Bot is mostly used in colleges, high schools, and by hobbyists around the world. While Boe-Bot requires no programming language to being with, you can additionally program him using PBASIC.
